As for what's to come... the setting has the heroine as Raeliana's friend. I'd expect her to show up supporting their relationship, not causing problems. I expect every problem to be caused by Raeliana herself wanting to "get out of the way of their love" or something.
The situation isn't complicated, but in typical anime fashion the MC will over-complicate it to all hell.
